Oman-based distributor receives the award for the fourth consecutive year
Suhail Bahwan Automobiles officials receive the “Nissan Global Award” in the Category B market.
DUBAI — Suhail Bahwan Automobiles, exclusive distributor for Nissan in Oman has added to its recent achievements by being crowned a Nissan Global Award winner 2013 for their outstanding performance in 2012. Suhail Bahwan Automobiles was also conferred with the ‘Nissan Champion Distributor’ status consecutively in 2009, 2010 & 2011. These awards serve as a testimonial to the company’s mission of achieving excellence in the automotive business. Suhail Bahwan Automobiles was awarded the “Nissan Global Award” in the Category B market, markets with total automotive industry volume (TIV) of more than 100,000 units.
The award was presented to Ahmed Suhail Bahwan, Chairman of Suhail Bahwan Automobiles by Carlos Ghosn, President and Chief Executive Officer, Nissan Motors Co. at a ceremony in Tokyo, Japan.

To achieve Nissan Global Award winner status, Suhail Bahwan Automobiles had to demonstrate the highest levels of excellence by over achievement in volume, market share and customer satisfaction.
The 2013 Nissan Global Award is presented to the biggest contributors of Nissan’s ‘Sales Power’; one of the six pillars of the Nissan Mid-Term Plan.
The plan, also known as the ‘Nissan Power 88’, aims to achieve eight per cent in global market share and to increase its corporate operating profit to a stable 8% by 2016.
