JEDDAH — Everyone of you must be enjoying your winter break with hot cocoa and warm soups in this desert which seldom enjoys pleasant weather.



This year has been slightly different from the others as the Jeddah received some mild showers while others cities experienced heavy rainfall and some even witnessed snow.



As temperatures dip, you dig your closet to find some winter wear to keep you warm and cozy.



Like adults, we know that you children of today are equally interested in looking trendy while visiting the corniche for a BBQ party with your family or friends, or playing in the park, or simply visiting a mall for some hot snacks and shopping.



According to experts, children who chose their own clothes exhibit self-confidence. Moreover, the way your dress says a lot about what kind of a person you are. Of course, you need to listen to your parents’ advice but you can always chip in a suggestion.



There are many brands here that offer you cool and trendy outfits. However, you can always be creative and mix and match what you have at home to make you look outstanding.



Here are a few tips to help you choose clothes that will make you look cool in winter.

 

• Don’t wear one thick jacket on your shirt. Dress in layers. You can wear a shirt with a vest, a light-weight sweater with a jacket on top. You can easily remove a layer when you start feeling hot.


• Instead of buying fur jackets, since it does not get freezing cold here, buy bright-colored jackets or hoody’s. Don’t you just love sporting a hoody with a cool graphic on the back?


• You can also buy light woolen mufflers or scarves to give you a trendy look.


• Woolen beanies are also a fashionable accessory. They do not only cover your head but also make you look hep.
