STC connects over 830,000 locations with FTTH network

STC has expanded FTTH network to be able to connect more than 830,000 locations with the FTTH network which is more than 18,000-kilometer long across the Kingdom.

STC  has expanded FTTH network to be able to connect more than 830,000 locations with the FTTH network which is more than 18,000-kilometer long across the Kingdom.



STC has provided the fiber optic service at high speeds of 200 MB/s to take customers to a new era in all broadband applications. STC enabled customers enjoy fiber optic service to move towards smart household concept and using broadband services and their high speeds in browsing and download different household applications and usages. There is also a possibility of providing various content services such as IPTV, Video in Demand, recreation services as well interactive games and modern social media channels and telephone call services of all Jood s bundle.



The demand on high-speed Jood services has shown lately a tremendous increase greatly compared to the last years especially after the spread of interactive applications and e-games and social media channels and other high tech projects that require high reliability digital structure. In this respect, STC in moving toward launching a new broadband era by deploying a the biggest fiber optic networks in the region on which Jood service largely depends in order to strengthen the shift of the telecom sector towards fiber optic supported broadband services.



FTTH service is very safe and protected against electromagnetic interference (EMI), stable and not influenced by natural factors.
