Civil Defense to test sirens in Jeddah

The Civil Defense Administration is scheduled to set off sirens at 5.00 p.m. Monday in the Jeddah governorate and Thuwwal center for 10 to 15 minutes to test the effectiveness of its alarm system and check the efficiency of sirens in emergencies.

JEDDAH – The Civil Defense Administration is scheduled to set off sirens at 5.00 p.m. Monday in the Jeddah governorate and Thuwwal center for 10 to 15 minutes to test the effectiveness of its alarm system and check the efficiency of sirens in emergencies. This comes within the project for installing sirens that the Civil Defense has completed. Director of public relations in the Directorate of Civil Defense in Makkah Col. Saeed Sarhan said the Civil Defense aims to acquaint the public with the three different siren sounds and what they mean.
