RIYADH – Danube Co launched a new hypermarket on Wednesday in the Hitteen District near Exit Two in the capital, increasing its presence in Riyadh’s fast-developing northern region.



The Hitteen branch further proves Danube’s commitment to growing its presence in Riyadh, making it the third branch here, along with the Hayat Mall branch, which opened in 2006, and the Panorama Mall branch, which opened in 2010.



“Danube Hypermarket is a one-stop, all under one roof supermarket and food chain with international item standards and of the best quality,” according to a statement.



The Hitteen branch is located in a vastly growing area of the capital, where the housing sector has flourished over the past couple of years in the North of Riyadh.



The new hypermarket is the 12th Danube location across the Kingdom, with its biggest presence being in Jeddah, followed by Riyadh, and a single branch in Al-Khobar.



Danube’s experience in operating large-scale hypermarkets dates back to 1987 and the establishment of the Kingdom’s first hypermarket in Jeddah, with a focus on quality control that has won the company both the International Quality Award (IQA) in 2009 and the Crown Quality Award (CQA) on the following year.



Danube Hypermarket, operating under the slogan “Your Family Partner,” have also increased their presence across social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, ensuring the hypermarket communicates their promotions, news, and limited-time offers immediately and effectively.



To promote the grand opening of the Hitteen branch, Danube Co have created posters and flyers that are being splashed across social media platforms, along with an in-store competition to win a brand new, luxury BMW. The new location is in full operation, with a variety of promotions and offers awaiting shoppers.
