MAKKAH — Visitors to the Grand Mosque are provided cool Zamzam water during the tawaf of the Kaaba. The staff of the Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques’ Affairs dispense Zamzam water from water coolers which they carry on their backs. Each cooler contains 200 cups of Zamzam water.

The new service, which coincides with the start of summer, began on a limited scale in January. Earlier it was available only on Mondays and Thursdays. But more staff have been involved in providing the service, which now covers many areas of the Grand Mosque throughout the week.
