Prince Bandar relieved of his post; Al-Idrisi to act as chief of Intelligence

A royal order announced here on Tuesday that Prince Bandar Bin Sultan was relieved of his post as Chief of General Intelligence upon his request and that General Yousef Bin Ali Al-Idrisi was assigned to act as Chief of General Intelligence.

RIYADH – A royal order announced here on Tuesday that Prince Bandar Bin Sultan was relieved of his post as Chief of General Intelligence upon his request and that General Yousef Bin Ali Al-Idrisi was assigned to act as Chief of General Intelligence.



The royal order will be carried out by the concerned authorities with immediate effect.



Al-Idrisi has been serving as Deputy Chief of General Intelligence since 5 October, 2012, succeeding Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Bandar.



In a royal decree issued on 15 July, 2013, he had been promoted from Lt. Gen. to General. – SG
