CAIRO — Rumors of Tamer Hosny and Basma Bousel divorcing took the Internet by storm recently.



The Egyptian superstar broke his silence in Facebook post, stating that although the couple are undergoing serious marital problems, the divorce has yet not taken place. He also said that he respecta Bousel as she is the mother of his daughter, and will not accept any malicious rumors about his wife.



Hosny requested his fans and critics to stop discussing his private life, as "God will choose what's best for us."

Few weeks back, reports have surfaced of Bousel marrying Jordanian singer Yahia Suwais, who she met on “Star Academy,” in complete secrecy before getting married to Hosny.



According to Elaph news, Yahia swore that him and Basma are merely close friends and the marriage certificate “proving” they were together is clearly forged. — SG
