Passport office at Jeddah chamber opened

The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Makkah region opened on Wednesday its new branch office at the headquarters of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI).

JEDDAH – The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Makkah region opened on Wednesday its new branch office at the headquarters of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI). Brig. Gen. Faleh Al-Hazmi, deputy director general of Jawazat in the region, inaugurated the office at Business Tower B, adjacent to the chamber headquarters. The function was attended by Mazen Batterji, deputy chairman of JCCI, and several Jawazat and JCCI officials, the Saudi Press Agency reported.



Al-Hazmi said the new branch will be helpful to the business community to a great extent. The office will offer services such as issuance and renewal of iqama (residence permit), issuance of reentry and final exit visas and all types of logistic services for the businessmen. This is the fourth branch of Jawazat at Jeddah commercial centers. The other branches are located at Red Sea Mall, Serafi Mall and Tahliyah Mall.
