JEDDAH — Al-Salamah 2 bounced back and defeated Al-Baladia 54-50 in the JBL LIFESTYLEZ Basketball Tournament at Bin Mahfouz court here recently.



Al-Salamah 2 played good offense and created openings to break the defense of the rival in the dying seconds intelligentlye. Bajas topscored with 13 points for the winner and was adjudged LIFESTYLEZ best player of the game, while Banadora chipped in 14 points for the loser.



This tournament is principally sponsored by LIFESTYLEZ with ABS-CBN - The Filipino Channel, Saudi Sign (Sam Adora), and Al-Haddaf Sportsware (Bayoumi) as co-sponsors.



Al-Kaki beat JBC 70-66 in another match. The winner displayed their never say die spirit in the dying seconds as the loser tried hard to snatch a win.



The loser committed foul to stop the clock but the winner connected their free throws for its second win. Coy Cabalu poured in 32 points for the winner and was adjudged JBL best player of the game.



Padilla and Paclibar scored 18 points apiece for the loser. In another encounter, Saudia City defeated Ruwais 49-44. The winner displayed superb teamwork in the crucial seconds of the game as the loser lost its steam in the final period.



Castro scored 18 points for the winner and was named LIFESTYLEZ best player of the game. Bon Parto contributed 16 points for the losers.
