JEDDAH — Al-Salamah 3 beat Al-Kaki 64-58 for its second straight win in JBL- LIFESTYLEZ Basketball Tournament at the Bin Mahfouz basketball court here recently.
Al-Salamah 3 dominated the shaded area in the final quarter. Bigata topscored with 24 points for the winner and was adjudged LIFESTYLEZ best player of the game, while Wares led the loser with 14 points.
This tournament is principally sponsored by LIFESTYLEZ with ABS-CBN - The Filipino Channel, Saudi Sign (Sam Adora) and Al-Haddaf Sportsware (Bayoumi) as co-sponsors.
Al-Bawadi 1 escaped a near defeat at the hands of Ruwais 60-56. The winner played the offense well in the crucial moments of the game as the loser committed blunders in the dying seconds. Arlanza scored 15 points for the winner and was named JBL best player of the game. Bon Parto made 15 points for the loser.
JBC defeated Saudia City 61-55. The winner showed its determination in the fourth quarter as the loser continued to attack and the lead kept changing. Paclibar chipped in with 22 points for the winner and was selected LIFESTYLEZ best player of the game. Cabuquin hit 19 points for the loser.
