BAHA — Police arrested five people on suspicion of illegally kindling fires in Mandaq, Baha province. Spokesman of the Civil Defense in Baha, Col. Jum’an Dais, said most fires in the region are caused by children who are playing with matches and lighters. Adults also set fires in order to get rid of dry grass and plants in their farms, he said. These fires spread because they are fanned by winds.
