TAIF — The Health Affairs directorate in Taif has announced that the local chest hospital is to close due the deteriorating conditions of its buildings. Acting spokesman for Taif Health Affairs Ibrahim Al-Ghamdi said the closure decision was based on an engineering committee’s report of the buildings’ conditions. “The committee recommended the closure of the hospital and so it has begun transferring patients to King Faisal Hospital and King Abdulaziz Specialist Hospital,” he said.
