DAMMAM — The General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) is reviewing its "Sanid" scheme, which provides employees who are dismissed from their jobs with monthly allowances until they find a new job, and considering whether retired employees should be refunded the 2 percent monthly contributions they paid toward the scheme unless they were unemployed at any point and received benefits. “GOSI has not backed out of Sanid, which will be implemented from next month, but the scheme may be subject to review, like any other initiative," said a GOSI source.
