ESPA luxury comes to Saudi Arabia

Al Faisaliah Spa by ESPA opened its doors to royalty in March earlier this year.

Located in Riyadh at Al Faisaliah Suites, ESPA is the first luxury label to have launched an exclusive ladies-only spa in Saudi Arabia. The high-end luxury brand fills the long lasting void with its exclusive and world-class signature treatments.  With the increasing demand pervading the Middle East’s growing luxury sector, Saudi Arabia was in dire need for its own fashion capital. According to a Chalhoub Group survey published in June, 94 percent of respondents from the Middle East spend an average of $2,400 a month. As witnessed in Saudi Arabia, this further proves the society’s strong desire to embrace luxury brands and recognition. Al Faisaliah Suites triumphs as the leader with unrivalled facilities such as Al Faisaliah Spa by ESPA, the geodesic structure encompassing The Globe and Italian fine dining at La Cucina.

ESPA at Al Faisaliah Suites fits the description and is indeed the perfect getaway with friends and loved ones. The luxury brand heralds a return to excellence, optimizing experiences of living in a private suite with a 24/7-butler service and caters to an increasingly diverse range of spa services. After all, Princess Al Anoud Bint Khaled Bin Abdullah designed the spa. Adorned with Swarovski crystallized walls, the spa is designed using bold and rich textures and is spread over four floors.

What makes it an indisputable winner apart from the eclectic collection of services is the prime location of its suites. Indulge in signature beauty treatments, unwind and relax with massages, work out at their new health club, swim and experience salon activities within the premises.

“We are delighted to launch the Al Faisaliah Spa by ESPA which will allow guests to retreat to a private oasis for a relaxing break from the bustle of the city. Carrying forward the established brand, which already exudes luxury, elegance and sophistication, into the spa industry was an obvious move. We are excited to enter another realm of the service industry and look forward to welcoming guests as we continue to deliver a world-class service to our guests,” Prince Bandar Bin Saud Bin Khaled, chairman of Al Khozama Management said.

Many women tend to spend the whole day at the spa beginning with relaxing treatments and massages. You can get a mani-pedi at the nail station, your hair styled and groomed and even professional make up services within the same space. If you want to take a break or even need to pick up a last minute outfit, then use easy access to world-class shopping and the direct access to the mall from your hotel.

Sometimes deluxe pampering can be exhausting. There’s only one thing left to do. Pamper your culinary senses.

Try the hotel’s top-rated Italian restaurant, La Cucina, with a set menu designed by Italian Chef de Cuisine Nicola Russo.

The favourites include arrabiata, caprese, paccheri served with burrata cheese, authentic and light mozzarella pizza, healthier and delicious in every bite, Trancio di salmon served with flavored asparagus and potatoes on the side and Uovo *64, an organic slow cooked egg served with crunchy green and white asparagus spears and porcini mushrooms. The taste plays on traditional Tuscan flavors but caters to a wide audience, making it immensely popular with its Saudi clientele.

The Globe is a class apart. With its intimidating structure overlooking the city, set in a warm intimate setting, you seem to fit right in after a few seconds. You can indulge in a seven-course meal or dive right into your favorite special signature meals. It is all about finesse and celebrating life at its prime.

Heading back to your suite maybe the only thing on your mind, because it probably resembles your dream house and the perfect weekend abode. The hotel has 106 contemporary suites including the royal, presidential, oasis, royal diamond and the much talked about royal penthouse suite among others. The eight distinct suites styles offer an award-winning personalized service with high tech entertainment facilities and a 24-hour butler service.

The royal diamond suite is one to brag about. It is a home away from home, if you live in a fancy mansion. With living, dining (for up to 10 guests) and office spaces, two large master bedrooms each with a private lounge and bathrooms the size of some people’s homes with Jacuzzis, massage showers, massage room, ice machine and a treadmill. The luxurious size and lavish amenities make it perfect for private gatherings and an ideal intimate getaway. So do yourself a favor and treat yourself to an unforgettable experience.
