Jeddah City has witnessed the launch of “Sweeter Together” event organized by Gandour Food Company last Thursday within the launch of its new look product "Yamama Cake". The event has witnessed great response from the visitors, being held as part of the company's attentiveness toward its social responsibility programs.
The participants of the event have expressed their admiration about the distinctiveness of the idea, which is cited as unique of its kind and primarily targeting the instilment of family involvement values and interaction between children and their mothers in line with the campaign's slogan "Let’s get Sweeter and let’s get Closer". The slogan calls for rapprochement and interaction between family members in the Saudi society through drawings and decorations made on Yamama Cake and taking a group photo with the family.
The event is continuing for one month in several Saudi cities starting from Jeddah (Red Sea Mall, Al Andalus Mall), Riyadh city (Hayat Mall in the 18th. and 19th of September – Granada Mall in the 25th and 26th of September), Al-Khobar City (Dhahran Mall on Oc. 2-3).
The event includes different entertaining activities and instant prizes will be distributed to participants. In addition, there is a cake decoration competition will be held during the event. The best design which gain the highest percentage of votes, likes, on Gandour Facebook page (Gandour Arabia) is going to win a valuable prize from the company.
The Gandour Company's marketing director and supervisor of the competition has said: “We are very happy with the event's giant and noticeable response, because it really addresses an important aspect of the Saudi woman's is interest in confectionary works, decorations, and sharing with her children in an atmosphere of fun".
He added: “The event's strong presence and positive reactions of the audiences have surpassed the expectations of the organizers!! Thus expressed the interest and interactions of the fans towards all the events that touch the social aspects of their life, and their children’s life.
