JEDDAH —  Today, Saudi Arabia will mark its 84th National Day. And it will be celebrated with solidarity, love, pride and passion. As cities across the country are adorned with national flags, green and white banners, streamers and balloons, this is the day that you can "go green" too.



So, how are you planning to wear and carry green this National Day? Green is an eye-catching color, gets attention, but it is not easy to flaunt green and look fashionable at the same time.



Dressing up in green doesn't mean that you start walking around like a ripe tree. Here, we have made a short list of ideas to help you celebrate the National Day with style.



Accessories: If you don’t have any green piece of clothing, or you feel that green doesn’t suit you then the best way to incorporate green in your outfit is to start with accessories.



Boys try to pick up some green belts, shoes and wrist bands to jazz up the outfit. Girls can flaunt bright green-colored bracelets, bags and clutches.



The market is full of green and white caps, mufflers, key chain, sunglasses and mobile covers, which are available at affordable prices.



Choose, buy, and sport whatever you fancy.



Dress: Girls you can wear a green shirt with white pants and blazer. Complete your look by sporting white footwear.



Boys can wear a green shirt with blue or black denims.



While dressing up, go bold and funky and play around with colors that would make you look cool. Purple, red, yellow, grey, navy and brown makes green even more dynamic and natural.



Make Up: You must be wondering what green color has to do with make-up? Well, green was the "color of the year" last year and it was worn in ways unimaginable. There are tons of shades of green which can be used for this national occasion without looking awkward.



Do your make up as usual: foundation, blush, lipstick but add a green eye liner to the top of the eye lash and below at the base. Pair it with neutral eye color. Your blink will be mesmerizing green.  If you are wearing a completely green dress, don’t use green eye shadows or liners. Instead take a slight gray or silver with black and apply on eyelids whilst winging out slightly. If your skin is dark go for emerald or lighter shade of green for the nails, whereas those with lighter skin can pull off dark and deep shades of green perfectly.
