almarkb International Marine Services is a hundred percent Saudi Company established in March 1990. Since then the company has come a long way in diversified marine activities like marine equipment and chemical supplies, stevedoring, operations and maintenance of port harbor crafts and pilotage.




During the Gulf War in 1990-1991 it provided Marine Support services to the US Army during operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm.



almarkb is established and owned by Capt. Jassim Al Dossary, who is not only a Qualified Master Mariner but also carries years of experience in the shipping field as pilot, Marine Manager, Director General of Jubail Commercial Port, Regional Manager and Vice Chief Executive (Technical) of the National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia.



Presently apart from being the General Manager of almarkb, he is member of marine committee at Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce, member of National Transportation Committee of Saudi Arabia and partner board member and chief executive of Dena Marine Co. Ltd.



almarkb is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company and a proud member of Baltic International Maritime Council (BIMCO), International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA), International Ship Suppliers Association (ISSA) London, TPF Forwarding Network.



The primary objective of almarkb is to serve the marine and shipping industry. At the same time it is serving trading and contracting sector. The services include:



Shipping agency:



Comprehensive agency services are offered for East Coast ports of Saudi Arabia. Other ports of the Kingdom are covered through sub-agency offices. With efficient and knowledgeable management and highly motivated workforce, almarkb provides professional service to ships and cargoes. With modern computer facilities at its disposal, almarkb provides timely and cost effective information to the principles for efficient handling of their vessels. almarkb is extending shipping agency services to liner, tramp, container vessels, general and bulk cargo vessels, heavy lift vessels, car carriers, barges etc.



Ship Chandling:




almarkb is a licensed ship chandler at all Saudi ports arranging provisions at very competitive prices. It supplies tank cleaning chemicals and materials, fresh water and any other supply that may be required by the vessels are arranged. Also, crew changes at Saudi ports are arranged by almarkb.



Freight services: Logistics




almarkb provides complete package of professional cargo services, door-to-door worldwide, sea and air. almarkb also coordinates any type of project cargo movement by sea, land and air. almarkb is fully prepared for single movements or turnkey operations. almarkb is a member of FIATA and TPF.

almarkb is the agents of HDS Lines for container services at Saudi Arabia.



Stevedoring:



almarkb arranges stevedoring activities and integrated material handling to various clients for all types of cargoes and supplies through various independent stevedoring companies at a very competitive prices.



Transportation:



almarkb is a licensed inland haulage company. We have a significant fleet of Iveco, Volvo, Mercedes truck Heads, flat bed trailers and tankers to extend all transportation requirements of our valued clients.



Maintenance & Landscaping



almarkb has undertaken contract jobs for maintenance and landscaping activities at various facilities.
