Al-Majal International School - Jeddah marked the Saudi National Day with great zest and zeal.



The student came to school dressed in Saudi Arabia's national dress and brought along with them their favorite traditional dish.



The principal of Al-Majal, Noor Al Qahtani, and the owner and the supervisor, Nabila Yaquob, explained the importance of the Saudi national day.



The teachers had prepared fun educational activities for students like arts and crafts, traditional dancing among others. Children also played games and watched a movie. The girls also got beautiful henna designs tattooed on their hands.  "It was an awesome blend of fun, creativity and traditions," said Kulsum Shafi, teacher. — By Munawarunnisa Nazneen


 


 


Al Hukama International School


  





Students of Al Hukama International School celebrated the Saudi National Day. Dressed in Saudi Arabia’s national dress, students took part in a wide range of activities that had been planned to celebrate the day, including decorating the school with flags and pictures of the King, traditional dancing, face painting for kindergarten students, hoisting the national flag among others. — Courtesy photo

The 84th Saudi National Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at Alif International School, Riyadh. Students were excited to be in the traditional Saudi dress.  Folk dance items, including sword dance, group songs, Arabic songs, solidarity ballet were performed as part of the program. School principal K.C Shaijal, teachers including Aymon Khan, Sonia Musthafa, and Head Girl Husna Nellingal played an instrumental role in the success of the program. — SG




 


Obhur International School


  



 


Obhur International School, Jeddah celebrated the 84th Saudi national day on September 22 in its school premises.



The celebrations started with the recitation of a few versed from the holy Qur’an followed by the grand inauguration of the ceremony by the principal, Zainab Ahmad Al Besasi. A speech was delivered by the school director, Fathima Mazia Salehu, highlighting the importance of the national day. Kindergarten students staged colorful folk dances, while some students sang the national song “salam-el malikiya.” An astounding quiz based on the rich Saudi history and culture was conducted by coordinator Nazima Bano.
