HAIL — The Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (Hai’a) in Hail arrested a male expatriate and his female companion after they were found in Khulwa (seclusion) in a car alone on Friday. The Hai’a was conducting a routine inspection at a mall when they spotted a car waiting at the corner end of the mall. A few minutes later, a girl came out of the mall and got into the car. The Hai’a followed the vehicle which was allegedly headed to a five-star hotel. When confronted and asked whether the girl was his relative, the young man confessed that she wasn’t. They were both handed over to police for investigation. — SG
