Reuben Paul, a 13 year old, 7th grader known as the “Cyber Ninja”, was able to hack into a drone, exposing the gaping holes in the security measures of millions of every day gadgets and technology devices, that are part of the Internet of Things (IoT).
Reuben demonstrated that he could disconnect a user from his drone and then take complete control of it by exploiting its insecure protocols. ABU DHABI – Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, continues to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by implementing fuel saving initiatives, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability.
Following a number of improvements aimed at enhancing operational fleet efficiencies, Etihad Airways reduced 148,000 tons of carbon emissions in 2018. The savings are equivalent to approximately 1,236 flights between Abu Dhabi and Barcelona or the removal of over 10,200 cars from the road.
