Saudi Gazette report RIYADH — The Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation (SCOT) revealed that as many as 1,706 people donated their organs during the year in 2024, and this marks an increase of 4.9 percent compared to the previous year of 2023. These included 1,284 kidney transplants and 422 liver transplants.According to a recent report published by SCOT, the number of people who expressed, through the Tawakkalna app, their wish to donate their organs after death reached 540,346.
