Saudi Gazette reportRIYADH — Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan received on Sunday a phone call from his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir Abdollahian.During the phone call, they discussed several topics of interest to Saudi Arabia and Iran, in addition to discussing the upcoming steps in light of the recent trilateral agreement.It is noteworthy that the Saudi and Iranian foreign ministers have agreed earlier to hold bilateral talks during the holy month of Ramadan,Saudi Arabia and Iran announced on March 10 the resumption of diplomatic relations that was severed in 2016, in a deal brokered by China.The three countries announced that an agreement has been reached between Saudi Arabia and Iran, which includes a deal to reopen their embassies and missions within two months.

Saudi Arabia to cut production by 500k bpd till 2023 end
RIYADH — Saudi Arabia will implement a voluntary cut of 500 thousand barrels per day from May till the end of 2023, an official at the Energy Ministry announced on Sunday.This comes in coordination with some other OPEC and non-OPEC participating countries in the Declaration of Cooperation.This voluntary cut is in addition to the reduction in production agreed at the 33rd OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting on Oct. 5, 2022, the official said.He emphasized that this is a precautionary measure aimed at supporting the stability of the oil market. — SG

Saudi Gazette report RIYADH — Around 16,407 violators of residency, labor laws and border security regulations were arrested in various regions of the Kingdom within a week.
