RIYADH — The International Indian Public School (IIPS) reached the final of Lulu Cup 4th Keli Inter-School Football Tournament beating Yara International School 3-1 in a shootout in the first semifinal at International Football Academy Stadium in Riyadh recently.
In a thrilling match, both teams played well. However, both could not convert their efforts into goals in regulation time. In the shootout that followed, IIPS scored three goals, while Yara could put only one into the net.
Prior to the match, both teams were introduced to guests. Hassan, Muhammad Rafeeq, Subhash were the match officials.
The second semifinal is set between International Indian School Riyadh (IISR) and Delhi Public School (DPS). Lulu Hyper Market is the sponsor of the tournament. — SG
