JEDDAH – Hala International School (HIS) has once again lived up to its reputation of delivering outstanding results in the Cambridge AS and A level examinations.
For the fifth consecutive year the said school’s students have achieved top rankings. For May-June 2012 examinations, Syeda Aasia achieved the top rank in the Kingdom in AS level in accounting, and procured As in all other subjects.
Mohammad Ragialla Adam secured the second position in Jeddah among students who studied nine subjects. He scored 6A*s and 3 As with distinction.
Aasia and Adam, who have studied at Hala International School from kindergarten, were honored in a grand ceremony hosted by The British Council at The Crown Plaza Hotel.
For the academic year 2011-2012, the school achieved a total of 90 A*s and 186 As for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) alone.
School principal Tanveer Tariq, said: “I congratulate my students, they have made us really proud. I also congratulate my management and my entire staff as the credit for the school’s success goes to them. My heartfelt thanks are also extended to the teachers responsible for these brilliant results.”
