RIYADH — The Student Council and the Management of Al Yasmin International School, Riyadh, recently hosted Iftar party for their students, teachers and parents to celebrate oneness among Muslim and non-Muslim students and staff community.
The simple act of sharing a meal together laid down the foundations of a new comradeship. The joy was elevated as it was shared with students, teachers and parents. It displayed the incredible sense of unity among the school community.
The welcome address was delivered by K. Rahamathullah, principal, Al Yasmin International School, Riyadh. In his welcome address he highlighted the feeling of joy and bliss experienced, when all the members of the school community meet, and it happened when they broke the fast together during Ramadan.
Following his speech, the toppers of X and XII standard CBSE Exams 2016-17 were awarded with trophies, certificates and gifts. The class teachers and the subject teachers of X and XII were recognized and felicitated. The Iftar party was the time to build bridges of love and compassion. It was the classic feature of Ramadan this year at Al Yasmin International School.
