Arab music icons set to dazzle Jeddah with concert

JEDDAH
- 11 renowned artists from Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kuwait and Iraq will participate in a special concert on the eve of National Day to be held in King Abdullah Sports City (Al Jawhra Auditorium) on Saturday Sept. 23.

They include Saudi Arabia's Mohammed Abdu, Abdul Majeed Abdullah, Rashid Al Majed, Abadi Al Johar, Rabih Saqr, Talal Salamah, Aseel Abubakr, the UAE’s Hussain Al Jassmi, Kuwait’s Abdullah Al Rwaished, Majed Al Muhandas and Waleed Al Shami.

The concert is part of 27 entertainment programs to be held in celebration of the country’s 87th National Day on Sept. 23, some of which will take place for the first time and on a large scale never before seen in the kingdom.

The largest ever concert organized by Rotana will be transformed into an entertainment center with free-to-attend concerts for men.

Furthermore, the concert’s program which spans over 12 hours, will also include a segment dedicated to the memory of Saudi Arabia’s martyrs and their families.
