A Saudi woman carves a niche in perfume industry

BUSINESSWOMAN and perfumes and decoration designer Areej AlHeila looks forward to be the first Saudi woman producing perfumes similar to the universal ones.

She is a bright Saudi name known to all women. She wants to make a difference plus her absolute ambition and moving forward.

“As I adore flowers and perfumes, I found myself encouraged to start experiencing making perfumes to show and distinguish the woman beauty,” se said in an interview.

She started this hobby between family and friends and focused on internal designs, decoration and perfumes design. Due to her special touches, Areej is a clear example for Saudi women and their skills.

She said the main reason behind her investment in perfumes industry is that she sees that everyone has great impact on her name.

Since she began to use the social media and produce perfumes and decoration designs, she never entered this field to have fun time. She has the depth and experience.

“I adored flowers, perfumes and any other sweet smell since I was a child. I planted Rosa damascene, Jasminum sambac and Jasmine in my garden and every morning I used to smell its wonderful odors. Loving flower is my habit and it spreads as I grew. I started to look for the distinguished flowers and to choose my special perfume to be in the mind. Our memories always linked with perfumes and its moments. In fact, I am going to open my new shop to sell perfumes and more products in the field of clothes design and decoration.”

Despite the great competition in the industry, Areej said the top could be available for all and any successful people. She has a nose and does realize what is special and new in this industry, adding that “therefore my various perfumes products overwhelmed great foreign perfumes.”

Asked about her love for decoration and fashion and about her teachings on etiquette, she answered, “I enjoyed this field as an amateur as I love all details in this industry so I developed and still develop myself too much during the last years. Moreover, I would like to give my followers some free advices in this industry.”

About the role associated with by her fame and being loved by women, she said “I am very happy to be loved by people who know me through social media rather that personal knowledge. However, it is my pleasure to have their trust especially because Saudi women recently showed their success and excellence.”

Commenting on those ladies who use social media and how they imitate each other, she said “unfortunately, some people used the fame as commercial currency without providing any content to the society... they are like soap bubble.”

Moreover, Areej advised woman who has talent to be confident and to love herself in order to be creative.

She pointed out that “quality and creativeness are the main foundations that could not be achieved by anyone without doing his/her best, being patient and acquiring the required experience.” — SG
