LONDON — Several exhibitors, delegates and sponsors across many countries have shown a great interest in taking part in the 7th Annual Gulf Education Conference and Exhibition scheduled to be held in Jeddah on Feb. 20-21.

The University of Business and Technology (UBT), Jeddah, is hosting the event wherein over 150 exhibitors and sponsors including some big names in the education sector have expected to participate.

“The Conference is likely to be attended by many leading academics, government ministers, the private sector and civil society experts to explain how Vision 2030 will be achieved and how education will play a vital role in the Kingdoms continued success,” Mohammad Abdulkhalig, CEO Gulf Conferences, said.

“It will provide delegates with the most up-to-date information available about the realities of investing in and partnering with Saudi education institutions.”

Expert speakers on every element of what is required by the Saudi education system, what projects are in place already and what needs to be done for the success of Vision 2030 would be dealt with threadbare, Abdulkhalig added.

Besides several dignitaries, Dr. Ahmed Al-Eissa, Minister of Education, is expected to speak at the conference.

“The conference format delivers excellent results. The speakers, panellists, and workshop presenters are among the top experts on the region. When combined with ample time for networking and informal conversations, the intellectual environment will be rich,” CEO Abdulkhalig said.

The Conference, he said, is a key event for universities looking to increase their admission rates, directly meet with students and their parents besides government representatives to establish a relationship for opportunities in enrolment.

“The Conference would enable a student find the right educational institution for himself by meeting the senior leaders of some 40+ universities from across the globe,” Abdulkhalig said.
