First the Royal Burger, now the giant macaroon- The Ritz Carlton, Jeddah will not stop at anything. Priced at SR 400 and weighing 2 kgs, the giant macaroon is made purely from almond flour, stuffed with Italian mascarpone cheese filling and is topped off with 24 carat gold sprinkles. How big is it? Well, it extends to about a 30 cm diameter; it could feed you, a family and a group of guests or however many are willing to consume a total of 4800 calories in one sitting.

“The aim is to bring family and friends together to enjoy one of the most delicious and distinctive sweets together. The Giant Macaroon is a new addition to our festive calendar. Launching it in the Middle East, stresses on the fact that the hotel will spare no effort in providing all the new and luxurious services to its distinguished guests,” Diaa Makkawi, Director of Public Relations at Ritz-Carlton, Jeddah told Saudi Gazette.

The launch of the giant macaroon took place in conjunction with the opening of the Ritz-Carlton, Jeddah’s Cake Boutique shop at Karamel Lounge.
