LONDON – The Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) and the UK's Department of International Trade (DIT) have signed an agreement on cooperative work program for enhancing bilateral trade and investment relations, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported Friday.
The cooperative work program, represented by SAGIA 's Governor Ibrahim Bin Abdulrahman Al Omar and Antonia Romeo of the United Kingdom's Department for International Trade, has stressed the importance of information exchange to provide mutual support for the Saudi and British companies to serve and promote investment between the two countries according to laws and regulations to promote economic growth in both countries and support foreign direct investment.
The joint program called on participants to further strengthen trade and industry partnerships between Saudi and British companies and provide trade and investment information for both parties, including identifying potential partners and supporting other participants in organizing trade fairs and trade missions in the two countries through information exchange and joint promotion. – SPA
