RENAULT Middle East, in collaboration with its UAE distributor, AW Rostamani and Shift Car Rental, has launched a lease plan for its new all-electric Renault ZOE Long Range model - making it easier and more affordable than ever to switch to electric motoring.

The four-year lease program is available at an all-inclusive price of AED 2,380 per month and includes a free home-charging station*, manufacturer warranty, servicing package and registration fees.

Pioneers in the electric revolution, Renault has sold almost 100,000 ZOE models worldwide, and was the first car maker to introduce a 100% electric car to the Middle East. In November 2017, the new long range version of the ZOE arrived in the region boasting a record driving range of 300 kilometers (in real driving conditions) on a single charge and delivering the longest driving range of any mass-market electric vehicle on sale today.

With the charging infrastructure in the Middle East growing, and in Dubai, new initiatives from the Supreme Energy Council rewarding EV owners with free public charging until 2019, as well as an array of other benefits like free parking, there is no better time to take a leap of faith and go electric.”

The ZOE is a compact 5-door city car. With sporty and dynamic styling; you have to look closely to discover the car is in fact 100% electric. Its electric badge, Z.E. signature headlamps with daytime running lights and rear lights all feature subtle blue styling cues which proudly denote it’s zero emissions status.

Inside, the light and spacious cabin offers a comfortable and peaceful driving experience. A modern touch-screen center console provides a hub for an array of in-car features including climate control, multi-media music and entertainment, and driving performance statistics.

Charging the ZOE is easy using the cables provided and connecting to a power source via the socket cleverly positioned under the Renault badge on the ZOE’s bonnet. Whilst the ZOE Long Range model benefits from extra battery capacity there is no impact on charging times. ‘Topping up’ the battery for just 30 minutes provides an additional 80 kilometers of range. — SG
