King Salman, Crown Prince congratulate Indians on independence anniversary

— Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, congratulated Indian President Ram Nath Kovind on the country’s 72nd independence day.

In separate cables of congratulations the King and the Crown Prince wished the Indian president good health and happiness and the people of India progress and prosperity.

King Salman also sent a cable of congratulations to President Denis Sassou Nguesso of Congo on the anniversary of his country’s independence day.

Meanwhile, Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman on Monday received a telephone call from US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

During the telephone conversation, they discussed a number of regional and international issues of common concern.
