ZULFI – A joint cooperation agreement was signed between the Social Development Bank represented by its General Manager Ibrahim Hamad Al Rashed and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Zulfi represented by its Chairman of the Board of Directors Abdullatif Bin Mohammed Al-Abdullatif last Tuesday
at the bank headquarters.
The agreement included the adoption of a financial portfolio of SR2 million for three years to support, sponsor and finance micro-entrepreneurs and the productive families of citizens in the region, in order to to move forward in stimulating the non-profit sector in Saudi Arabia and support the objectives of the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision.
This agreement comes as an extension of the Bank’s plan to cover areas that have no facilities serving productive families. The bank started its plan in more than one region, to serve these families wherever they are. It is also part of a series of agreements concluded by the bank to enhance the capacities of the beneficiaries of the citizens, their economic empowerment and its positive effects on the individual and the surrounding society.
The agreement includes training, supporting, financing, as well as spreading the culture of free work. Taking into account the groups that take priority to support such as people with special needs, divorcees, widows, social security service providers and others that deserve the attention of this benevolent country. The country works hard to empower its children, strengthening their capacities and its national economy to achieve both its economic and social objectives. — SG
