New GACA president thanks Saudi leaders for their trust

RIYADH — Abdulhadi Bin Ahmed Al-Mansouri has expressed his thanks and appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, deputy prime minister and minister of defense, for being appointed as president of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) at the rank of minister.

Al-Mansouri previously worked as deputy transport minister. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah and has completed an Executive Program for Human Resources (RBL).

He has previously served as Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Human Resources; he also worked as an advisor to the Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources and Supervisor for Human Resources.


Furthermore, he had previously worked as deputy head of finance and operations, King Abdullah Center for Petroleum Studies and Research. Also in the past he worked as an administrative director of International Recruitment/Saudi Aramco Employees; he was also the founder and director for Aramco Overseas Limited.

Previously, he served as president of the Arab Society for Human Resource Management (ASHRM) and a member of the Board of Directors of the International Federation of Training and Development Organization (IFTDO).

Al-Mansouri was a member of many committees and groups, including former member of Board of Directors of the National Commission for Academic Evaluation and Accreditation, chairman of the Haj Committee for the Ministry of Health workforce.

This is in addition to his previous membership of the committee to raise the efficiency of health and education Ministry staff. Formerly, he was the head of the joint workforce between the GCC countries and the Kingdom of Morocco in the field of human resources and manpower. He was also a member of the Nominations and Promotions Committee of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, as well many other committees. — SG/SPA
