Ahlam dazzles fans in Jeddah

JEDDAH — Emirati singer Ahlam Al-Shamsi’s show in Jeddah on Saturday night surprised the 6,000-strong audience with a special national song as a gift to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman.

In a statement at the conclusion of the show, which was held in Al-Jawharah Theater at King Abdullah Sports City, Ahlam said: “Once again I’m amidst my family in Jeddah city, the Bride of the Red Sea, in a distinctive night when dreams become a reality with my presence amongst you.”

She added: “A nation was born in the heart. A nation for which I have a lot of feelings, from the extreme north to its south, east and west.”

Ahlam’s distinctive voice echoed in Jeddah skies with several popular and favorite songs.

The audience joined her in singing her popular numbers.
