RIYADH —
The border guards in Al-Khafji sector in the Eastern Province on Friday evening rescued four Indian sailors whose boat caught fire in the middle of the sea.

Lt. Abdul Malik Al-Abdul Qadir, spokesman of the boarder guard, said they were informed by the command and control center that while on its normal duties, a search and rescue patrol saw a voyage boat burning in the little of the sea about eight miles to the northwest of Manifah center with four people on board calling for help, Okaz Arabic daily said.

"We immediately provided them with the required help and evacuated the entire crew of the boat," he said.

The spokesman said the fire was put off and the boat controlled by the patrol teams without any injuries.

"All the four Indian nationals were in good health and no one of them was hurt or injured," he added.
