RIYADH — A wanted individual was killed in shootout with the security forces and a huge cache of arms was seized from his hideout in Tabuk, the Saudi Press Agency reported quoting the spokesman of the Presidency of State Security.

The spokesman said that the individual Abdul Rahim Al-Huwaiti, a Saudi national, opened fire at security men when they raided his home in Tabuk region to arrest him on Monday morning. The man was holed up on top of the building behind sandbags, and he did not respond to calls made by security men to him and one of his brothers, asking them to surrender.
