Al-Yasmin International School (YIS) beat Jawahar ArRiyadh International School (JARIS) in the Under-14 category by 27 runs and Manarat ArRiyadh International School (MARIS) beat Jawahar ArRiyadh International School (JARIS) by 68 runs in the Under-19 category to secure 3rd positions in the SCC-RCA Inter-school Cricket Tournament which is sponsored by Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC).

RIYADH — Al-Yasmin International School (YIS) beat Jawahar ArRiyadh International School (JARIS) in the Under-14 category by 27 runs and Manarat ArRiyadh International School (MARIS) beat Jawahar ArRiyadh International School (JARIS) by 68 runs in the Under-19 category to secure 3rd positions in the SCC-RCA Inter-school Cricket Tournament which is sponsored by Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC). 



In the U-14 section, Al-Yasmin elected to bat first. Vinumbra and Talmiz put on a good opening stand. Al-Yasmin managed 109-2 in the allotted 12 overs. Vinumbra scored 43 and Talmiz made 29. Akhil and Rahul were not out with 20 and 3, respectively. Khalid and Haris bagged 1 wicket each for Jawahir ArRiyadh International School.



In reply, JARIS was bowled out for 82. Only Basheer (14) and Huzaifa (22) made double figures. Vinumbra and Safwan claimed 2 wickets each. Vinumbra also playing as wicketkeeper made two stumpings and he was selected Man of the Match.



In the U-19 category, Manarat ArRiyadh International School elected to bat against Jawahar ArRiyadh International School. It amassed a huge total of 188-7 in the allotted 20 overs. Rauf and Osama were the top scorers with 32 each, while Nasr scored 26. Abdul Aziz took 3 wickets and Nabeel got 2, while Ibad, Zuhaib and Salim claimed 1 each.



In reply, Jawahar was bowled out for 120. Nabeel was the top scorer with 39, while Zohaib and Farhan made 14 and 13, respectively. Osama, Hussain and Bilal bagged 2 wickets each, while Shadab got 1. Osama was declared Man of the Match.



Al-Yasmin International School received the U-14 trophy form RCA President Tariq Javed, while the U-19 trophy was presented by Munir of Modern International School to Manarat ArRiyadh School.
