Wanted terrorist Salman Al-Farj shot dead in Awamiya

JEDDAH — One of the most wanted terrorists, Salman Ali Salman Al-Farj, was shot dead by the police inside his home in Awamiya district of Qatif governorate.
The terrorist was in the list of the 23 most wanted terrorists that the Ministry of Interior has published six years ago in 2012.
Al-Farj went into hiding since the publication of the wanted list but he surface in Awamiya recently. Police surrounded his house and asked him to give himself in without resistance. However, he came out of his house opening fire and the police were forced to retaliate. Al-Farj was killed in the shootout.
Salman Al-Farj was involved in terrorist activities with his brother Abdulrahman Al-Farj. They have been involved in organizing riots, obstructing traffic, vandalizing property, obtaining weapons illegally, opening fire on police officers and recruiting terrorists.
The police had previously shot and killed three other terrorists on the wanted list. They were Khalid Al-Libad, Mohammad Al-Farj and Ali Al-Ribih.
Nine others — Ahmad Al-Sadah, Bashir Al-Mutlaq, Hussain Al-Rabi, Ridwan Al-Ridwan, Abbas Al-Mizri, Abdullah Al-Esreeh, Mohammad Al-Zanadi, Mohammad Al-Shakhouri and Muntathar Al-Subaiti — have been arrested.
