Jamia Nizamia alumni welcome pilgrims

JEDDAH — The alumni association of Jamia Nizamia, ‘Bazme Tulba-E-Qadeem Wa Muhibban-E-Jamia Nizamia,’ organized a function to welcome pilgrims recently at a local restaurant here.
The alumni president, Mohammed Naveed Afroz Naveed, presided over the event. Jamia is one of the leading and oldest Islamic universities in Hyderabad. Hafiz Maulana Abdul Salam Aziz Anwari conducted the program, while Maulana Syed Shah Niamatullah Qadri, former president of Jamia Nizamia and Maulana Shah Mohd Aslam Javeed Naqshbandi were the special guests of the evening.
Maulana Hafiz Shiek AbdulRaheem Rehmat Abadi, Maulana Syed Inamullah Qadri, Hafiz Mohd Aqeel Qadri, from Jamia Nizamia along with Maulana Mohd Azmat Qadri, Maulana Mohd Bilal Qadri, Maulana Mohd Afroz Attari, Maulana Mohd Abdulbasit Naqshbandi, Mohd Tawfeeq Qadri, Mohd Wajid, Mohd AbdulRehman, Hafiz Mohd Abdullah Huzaifa Naqshbandi, Hafiz Mohd Khalilullah Khuzaima Naqshbandi, Mohd Qadeer Shareef and Mohd Samiuddin Qadri were the guests of honor at the event.
While speaking on the occasion Syed Shah Niamatullah Qadri said, “Whenever a person asks something of Allah, if it is good for you Allah grants it and if it is not good for him Allah gives him something better than he asks, and if a person’s Dua is not accepted here he will see its reward in the Hereafter.”
Mohd Aslam Javeed said “When Hijr-e-Aswad” (black stone) came into this world from Jannah, it was white in color, it turned black because of its absorption of sins of all humans.”
Maulana Naveed Afroz requested all guests to pray for the betterment of the Muslim Ummah in Harmain Sharifain.
Earlier, the program commenced with recitation of some verses of Holy Qur’an by Abdullah Huzaifa followed by Naat from Hafiz Mohd Saleem Qadri from Jamia Nizamia.
The program concluded with supplication for world’s peace and prosperity by Maulana Syed Shah Niamatullah Qadri.
