RIYADH — Riyadh Warriors Green defeated Lahore Badshah by 69 runs to win the 40-over Al-Kharj League of the Prince Abdulaziz Bin Nasser Cricket Tournament, organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA). Electing to bat first, Riyadh Warriors Green got off to a good start with 100 plus opening stand between Nasir Abbasi and Ayaz Shah. Abbasi scored 68 off 40 balls while Ayaz Shah made 101 off 92 balls. In the middle order, Amjad Ali played brilliantly for 64 runs from 43 balls, while finishing touches were provided by Iftikhar Ali (54 off 25) and Syed Adeel (38 off 24). Riyadh Warriors Green posted 364-8. Lahore Badshah started the chase well and kept the momentum throughout but lost wickets at regular intervals. Lahore Badshah was all out for 295 in 32.4 overs.
