Pak Green, Pak Crescent A and RCYCI win

YANBU — Pak Green, Pak Crescent A and RCYCI won their respective matches in the Jotun Cup T20 Tournament organized by Yanbu Al-Sinaiyah Cricket Association (YACA) here. In the first match, Pak Green defeated Patel XI by 8 wickts. Patel XI posted 115-9 in 20 overs as Awais Shaikh stroked 46, Hamid Patel 20 and Ali 15. Abdulqadar claimed 3 for 22, while Intezar had 2, while Tauqeer and Khan claimed a wicket each. Pak Green reached the target of 116 for 2 in 88 balls. R.K. scored 41 and Abdulqadar 24. Mohatashum and Hamid Patel bagged a wicket each. Abdulqadar was named the Man of the Match. In another encounter, Pak Crescent A had the last laugh against Yanbua Youth by 76 runs. Pak Crescent A piled up 203 for 7 as Mohammed Zahid compiled 46, Sarfaraz 59, Abrar 38 and Raja Fahad 12. Shoaib and Imran Khan claimed 2 wickets each, while Khalid, Waleed and Salman took a scalp each. Yanbua Youth was bowled out for 126. Imran Khan top scored with 62, Waleed made 31 and Salim 12. Sarfaraz bowled magnificently to grab 5 for 11 and Raja Fahad had 2. Sarfaraz was adjudged the Man of the Match. In the last match of the day, RCYCI won against Pak XI by a slender margin of 4 runs. RCYCI produced 146 for 4 in 20 overs with Khan making 19, Mohtasham 60 (4 sixes and 4 fours), Ahmed Nadwi 24 and Qalander Khan 24. Abdulrazzaque took 3 for 15 and Anwar one. Pak XI started well but fell short by 4 runs. Hasnain blasted 51, Abdulrazzaque 32, Mohammed Khan 16 and Ahmed 15. Kishwar claimed 4 for 20, while Abbas, Mohammed, Qalandeer Khan and Aamir Khan took a wicket each. — SG
