ESSAM Omar Fakieh, chief executive of Al Dar Al Khasa and the developer of The Headquarters Business Park, inaugurated the two-tower business hub located in northern Jeddah on the corniche.

The west tower overlooks the corniche and is 52-story high with 240 meters. The second is east tower, with 16 storys overlooking the Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Street at an altitude of 79 meters. Located between the two towers is the central services building containing all services that serve the twin towers.

Fakieh at a press conference, said that the majority of companies that own office space in the two towers are in the process of moving to the headquarters, while “Savola” who acquired the eastern tower, has already moved into its new headquarters.

Fakieh said that Adeem International is the owner of The Headquarters Business Park on an area of 12,353 sq meters. The building took 6 years to be completed.

The owner and developer had worked together to make ‘The Headquarters’ an eco-friendly building using contemporary global standards and technologies and is considered an integrated city with desalination water station of 350 cubic meters daily pumping, sovereign electricity generating station with 14 MW, latest cutting-edge smart technology which allows remote control in many systems and devices.

In addition, a reserve water tank serving the building for a period of 3 consecutive days, LED lighting technique, anti-earthquake concrete structure to withstand an earthquake up to 7 on the Richter scale, and to address the winds with speeds of 250 km per hour, moreover indoor garden on an area of 650 square meters.

Fakieh also noted that there are more facilities serving ‘The Headquarters’ such as wide mosque, 12 shops, VIP lobby, multipurpose hall on an area of 830 square meters to hold seminars, conferences and meetings, health club equipped with the latest sports equipment, an indoor swimming pool, area of restaurants serving diverse Oriental and Western cuisine meals, a seven-star restaurant and a business lounge, on an area of 1,118 square meters.

Fakieh added, ‘The Headquarters’ has a parking lot for 2,000 cars, 30 elevators in addition to a panoramic oblique elevator that reaches the top of the tower and a helipad at the west tower.

The owner and developer also worked to cover the expenses burden of service facilities and shared spaces required by such a huge tower. —  Samar Yahya
