NEW YORK — Golden State improved to 23-0 with a 131-123 victory over Indiana Tuesday, with guard Klay Thompson scoring 29 of his season-high 39 during the Warriors’ 79-point first half. Going back to last season, Golden State has won 27 consecutive regular-season games, tying the 2012-13 Miami Heat for the NBA’s second-longest winning streak. The 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers won 33 consecutive regular-season games. Thompson made eight of 10 shots from three-point range during the first 24 minutes, when the reigning NBA champions led by as many as 22. Through three periods, Thompson and Stephen Curry had 62 combined points. Curry finished with 29 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds. “Our guys were locked in,” Warriors interim coach Luke Walton said. “They were excited about this game. We were thrilled with the way we played during the first three quarters. “I don’t think there is any pressure on us. Our guys are having fun.” Through the first three quarters Tuesday, when the Warriors led 111-83, Golden State made 44 of 71 field goal attempts (62 percent). The Warriors finished 52 of 95 (54.7 percent), including 16 of 36 from three-point range. Curry called Thompson’s first half unbelievable. Paul George led Indiana with 33 points, and C.J. Miles added 24. George Hill and Chase Budinger each added 12, and Jordan Hill had 10 points. Cavaliers 105, Trail Blazers 100: LeBron James scored 33 points, including 12 in the fourth quarter, and Cleveland rallied from an 18-point deficit to beat the Portland Trail Blazers 105-100. James added 10 rebounds and three assists while forward Kevin Love scored 18 points and guard Matthew Dellavedova had 17 for the Cavaliers, who ended their three-game slide. Nets 110, Rockets 105: Joe Johnson scored 15 of his 22 points during the fourth quarter as the Brooklyn Nets held on for a 110-105 victory over the Houston Rockets. Johnson hit nine of 15 shots while also collecting eight assists and five rebounds on a night when the Nets (6-15) held a 16-point lead midway through the third quarter. Thunder 125, Grizzlies 88: Kevin Durant scored 32 points, Serge Ibaka added 17, and Russell Westbrook had 13 points and 16 assists to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 125-88 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies at FedExForum. The Thunder, who needed a late jumper by Durant to beat the Sacramento Kings on Sunday, spent the majority of the game against the Grizzlies with a double-digit lead. Magic 85, Nuggets 74: Nikola Vucevic scored 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, and the surging Orlando Magic beat the Denver Nuggets 85-74. Tobias Harris finished with 17 points and nine rebounds, and Elfrid Payton had 18 points for the Magic, who won for the sixth time in seven games.  Orlando (12-9) improved to 3-1 on a five-game road trip that concludes in Phoenix Wednesday. Kings 114, Jazz 106: DeMarcus Cousins shook off a recent slump to score 23 points and add 12 rebounds, and Rudy Gay also scored 23, as the Sacramento Kings fought off the stubborn Utah Jazz 114-106 at Sleep Train Arena.
