JEDDAH — My Care Hala (MCH) Green beat Hala International School Jeddah by 93 runs to clinch My Care Medical Center League 2015 title here recently. The event is sponsored and supported by My Care Medical Center and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA).

MCH Green, batting first, piled up 212 for 7. Opener Azhar scored 33 in 21 balls while his partner Waqas contributed 26. Captain Rahil added a quick-fire 54 and Zameer used the long handle effectively to contribute 45 off 17 balls. Mohsin Mirza claimed 1-48, Shah Jahan 1-24, Safi 1-25 and Jahanzaib 1-24.

In reply, the schoolboys were bundled out for 119 in 15.2 overs. Jahanzaib top scored with 35, while veteran openers Tariq Jamal and Shah Jahan scored 24 and 20, respectively. Rahil took 3-8, Waqas 2-33, Babar 2-14 and Atta 2-14.

The prize distribution function was held after the match. Hamid Rana, JCA vice president, represented the sponsor, My Care Medical Center as the chief guest. JCA CEO Muhammad Iqbal thanked the sponsor and the media along with the participating teams.

The awards went to: winner — MCH Green, runner-up — Hala International School Jeddah, Man of the Match — Rahil Subhani, Batsman with Maximum Runs — Shah Jahan of Hala International School, Batsman with Highest Average — Mohsin Mirza of Hala International School 246 runs at an average of 123, Best Batting Performance in a Match — Umar of AJA 132 not out against Peeran-XI, Bowler with Highest Wickets — Faizan of Hala International School 7-38 at 5.43 average, Best Bowling Performance in a Match — Asghar of MCH Green (5-28 against Jeddah Shaheen), Best All-rounder — Shah Jahan of Hala International School 319 runs and 12 wickets, Best All-round Performance in a Match — Shah Jahan of Hala International School, 136 run and 3-28 against Peeran-XI, Best Partnership — Shah Jahan and Naseer of Hala International School (145 runs against Peeran-XI). All the winners and runners-up received individual awards.
