JEDDAH — To mark the celebration of the 67th Republic Day of India, the Consulate General of India in association with Saudi Indian Business Network (SIBN) is organizing the Indian Food Festival on Jan. 22-23 in the premises of the Indian Consulate.

Ten different Indian restaurants from Jeddah are participating in the festival to bring regional delicacies representing the spectrum of the culinary tradition and diversity of the Indian cuisine.

The inauguration session will be held at 6:30 p.m. where various diplomats, consulate staff, SIBN members and media persons are being invited.

The main sponsor of the event is Rabea tea and co-sponsored by Al Kabeer, Eurostar, Luna, Memories and State Bank of India. The restaurants participating in the food festival are Shadab, Sea Gulls, The Village, Aryas, Spices, Khaana Khazana, Spice Garden, Daawat, Lazeez Chat Bhandar, and Masala Indian Restaurant.

The venue will be open for entry for Indians and other communities at large from 9 p.m. onwards Jan 22, and from 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 23. The entry is limited to families only.

SIBN officials are requesting Indians and other communities to witness the festival and enjoy the different variety of Indian cuisine.
