THE General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) promoted Khalid Al-Khaibary to Information Advisor, the Authority announced on Monday. During the 10 years he had been the Authority’s public relations and official spokesperson, Khaibary successfully built solid ties with national and regional media institutions and people. His vast experience in the field perfectly qualified him to take on his new post’s challenge of setting new media strategies that go hand in hand with the next phase in the Authority’s history. Khaibary’s former post has been filled by Abdullah Al-Khuraif, who enjoys a master’s degree in marketing communications and advertisement, supplemented by a proven track record in information and marketing. Khuraif had been chief of Al-Anoud Media, as well as director of The Spirit of Leadership – Exhibition and Events of the history of King Fahad Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud. He is a member of several media associations and charities, and possesses substantial experience in media production, specialized content creation, and information consultancy.
