The inauguration was held on Feb. 18 at 10:30 a.m. in LuLu Murbaba, Riyadh outlet by Ihad Soliman, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The festival is expected to draw shoppers from all walks of life to this eclectic sale, which will showcases a wide ranges of delectable and diverse Egyptian products. Among the food items on display are specialty Egyptian cheese, luscious fresh fruits and vegetables, including oranges, strawberries, pomegranate and tomatoes, as well as a wide variety of other goods from Egypt.
The delicatessen department of LuLu is also packed with delicious olives, pickles and salads with special prices. The Fruit and Vegetable Department will be showcasing fresh produce from Egypt with best prices. Fresh fish varieties such as tilapia, grey mullet etc. will be displayed in the Sea Food section.
The ‘Egypt Festival’ provides Egyptians, as well as other residents and citizens in Saudi Arabia, with ample selection of top-notch Egyptian products as well as an introduction to Egyptian food culture.
