The Islamic Corporation for the Development of the private sector (ICD), the private sector arm of the Islamic Development Bank Group (IDB), organized a business forum on Feb.  22, 2016 in Casablanca. The event focused on the strategic dialogue aimed to highlight the funding opportunities provided by ICD to support the Moroccan private sector.

The main objective of the Forum is to establish a dialogue with the key Moroccan business community after the publication of the law regulating the participatory finance and the law governing the activities of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP). Through this close dialogue, ICD wants to support the local business community and encourage them to benefit from ICD funding via resource mobilization and creation of the necessary infrastructure in Morocco and other African member countries. — SG
